What Are Hyaluronic Pen Injections?
A Hyaluronic pen uses pressure to penetrate the top layer of the lips.
It can reduce the risk of occlusion and necrosis which is typically more common with needle fillers.
This process of injection is needle-less, so it entails little to no pain.
Hyaluronic acid is naturally produced in the epidermis and dermis layers of the skin. its also known for its skin benefits for hydration and reducing the appearance of fine lines/wrinkles.
How Long Do They Last?
The first syringe is very natural and more like a base for your lips. The outcome depends on the clients wants and dedication. 1-2 syringes will be more natural and 3-4 would be more voluminous.
one syringe will only last between 2-3 weeks. that’s why a second syringe for touchups is recommended. after the second session the filler can last 4-6 months. if you wait longer than 3 weeks for your second session it could restart the building process all over.

How Much Filler Should I Get?
0.5mm
Great for introductory filler for nervous first timers. Also great for correcting small imperfections in the lips.
2mm
This is a more noticeable look and it may take 2-4 syringes to get your desired look. Its a building process!
1mm
This is a natural effect that is noticeable but not dramatic. This is great for first time clients if you want to plump your lips one size up.
3mm
most defined and high volume look. Most similar to the needle injection look. may need 3-4 sessions to get this look.
